Avignon - a cool programmer's font
Enclosed is the programmer's font I have built and used for the last two
years; most people I know that tried it do like it a lot, and stick on it.
It's a screen font that looks sort of Monaco 9, with a few twists that make
a real difference :
- dense : you pack 10 lines of Avignon where 9 lines of Monaco fit
- no gamble : all characters in the $20-$FF range are distinct, never again
will you wonder if this you see the letter O or the digit 0 ,
the capital I or the lowercase l , and so on.
- all controls are visible (with the exception of $00, $09, $0D to avoid
system blues).
Avignon is packaged as a suitcase file, usable under any system including 7.0.
Bundled is the usefull ‘AllChars’ files; contains positively ALL characters
formatted for easy cut'n paste.
All this is free and can be redistributed, hacked… at will.
